Leopoldo I di Toscana is located at the foot of the hills of the town of Bibbona in the province of Livorno overlooking the beautiful town of Bolgheri and has been owned by Mr. Nicholas D'Aria since 1996 when he purchased  31 hectares and devoted himself to producing wine. The vineyard portion is 13 hectares at present and is intended to increase over the years to cover about 20 HA with a structure of medium-textured soil, with a good presence of clay and supported by skeleton providing for an environmentally friendly and low production high quality vineyard.  The land is characterized by idyllic climatic conditions such as constant ventilation from both sea and over land, the right heat transfer within the vineyard density of 9,600 vines hung with bilateral rope. The soil and climate conditions of this area allow this Bordeaux variety to express its maximum potential with complexity, elegance and power.
